About

Maggie Cifra, M.A. CCC-SLP

Welcome! I am a speech-language pathologist with 13+ years of experience. I graduated from Kent state University in 2011 with a Master's in speech-language pathology. My extensive time in the field has been spent working with both pediatric and adult populations in a variety of settings including skilled nursing, outpatient and school settings.

I have a passion for connecting with clients of all ages and their families, empowering them to improve their speech-language and communication skills and guiding them to becoming more independent communicators.

I am a state licensed (Indiana & Ohio) speech-language pathologist and hold a Clinical Certificate of Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). I'm also certified through the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) and the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) to provide school-based speech language services.

In my free time, I can usually be found spending time with my husband and kids, doing something outdoors like sitting by a campfire or going for a hike. I also love watching football and golf. I'm looking forward to helping you with all of your speech needs and I can't wait to meet you!

Our Clients Say

Language Therapy
"We worked with Ms. Maggie in the past and my kids loved her. She was a joy to work with and she helped my kids immensely with their speech."
Teenager Speech Therapy, Stuttering
"I cannot say enough good things about Maggie Cifra. In 8th grade my son had expressed that he was noticing that his peers and teachers had to keep asking him to repeat himself. I let his principal know and within a couple of days, she reached out and immediately started the testing process.

Within a couple of months after working with Maggie, I started noticing my son’s confidence coming back. She worked so well with him and gave him the skills that he needed for his speech development. He even joined the debate team and spoke in front of many, winning the debate! I was also pleased that she included me and frequently gave reports about his development. "
